Sublimation Transfer Printing 

 

The sublimation printing process allows us to produce permanent detailed logos and brand names onto our polyester webbing. Customer's artwork or designs are used to produce laser-engraved print rollers. From these the design is created as a transfer paper. For short runs only, the design can be created digitally onto a transfer paper without the need for rollers. The webbing and transfer paper are then passed together over a heated drum under pressure. During this process the transfer dyes turn into a vapour and penetrate the webbing, resulting in a permanent and colourfast print. Polyester is the only substrate that will accept the sublimation process, as the operating temperature is 205-215°̊C. Designs can be printed either single side or both sides.
